Making it Mutual

March 14th, 2013 By comms@ldn.coop Leave a Comment

Think tank ResPublica has just published a major essay collection ‘Making it Mutual‘ looking at the opportunities for mutuals in various sectors, and the policies that can better support their development.

Included in the essays are pieces by Co-operatives London members Supporters Direct on football club ownership and Kate Bull on The Peoples’s Supermarket, whilst Co-operatives UK’s Ed Mayo writes about the need for a national policy for co-operation and co-operatives. It also includes a piece on the London Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1904 on co-operative lines, and which remains owned by its players to this day.
